We are Coucou Flora; an eco-conscious floral design studio, and the undisputed authority on living life beautifully. We live and grow by this ethos, with a mission to help our customers embrace floral joy every day.
Based in South East London, Coucou Flora joyfully opened in the tranquil autumn of 2022 - We are keen to provide wide-ranging, high-standard floral design service in a more sustainable path and reasonable price for every client across London. Our service includes but is not limited to bouquets, floral styling, installations for occasions and events.
At Coucou Flora we are here to help use flowers to tell our and your stories and find extraordinary beauty from them. As we truly appreciate the individual beauty and seasonality of our dreamy flowers, we feel the same way about the people we work with and work for. We are all unique in our own way, and we like to celebrate those differences. Our commitment is to cultivate an environment where every customer can feel part of our journey and has the opportunity to grow and thrive their own feelings and thoughts.

Deer has always maintained a close relationship with nature, drawn instinctively to everything wild, organic, and alive. Flowers entered her life early - her mother is a floral designer, and growing up surrounded by stems, textures, and quiet moments of making shaped her sensitivity to form and beauty long before she learned to name it.
Born in China, Deer moved to London seven years ago to pursue her undergraduate studies, and later completed a Master’s degree in Engineering. After graduation, she spent several years working in the corporate world until she found her calling in floristry. Although her academic and professional path was not directly connected to art, it gifted her something equally essential: rational thinking, structured logic, discipline, perseverance, and a deep sense of responsibility. These qualities now form the foundation of how she runs her studio, collaborates with her team, and works with clients and partners - and they are the reason she is trusted by them.
Deer had her professional floristry training at Catherine Muller Flower School, where she refined both technique and aesthetic language. Her signature style is elegant yet instinctive, structured yet untamed - bold and chic, balancing femininity and masculinity at once. Alongside formal training, She continues to learn through ongoing courses, working closely with other florists, assisting on diverse projects, and reflecting deeply on her own commissions. Experience, to her, is both accumulated and examined.
Coucou Flora is built as a collective. Within the team are florists with far more years of hands-on experience than Deer herself, and through constant dialogue, shared practice, and mutual respect, the studio has gradually developed its own floral logic - one that values craftsmanship, clarity, and emotional restraint, while allowing intuition and individuality to breathe.
We work with a strong commitment to sustainability, minimising non-recyclable materials and unnecessary packaging wherever possible. Floral foam, for example, is neither biodegradable nor reusable, yet remains widely used. We avoid it whenever we can and actively support the #nofloralfoam movement, alongside a growing number of florists rethinking long-standing industry habits.
Inspired by clients’ stories, exhibitions, artworks, we welcome creative challenges and continues to explore new directions. Driven by curiosity rather than completion, our work evolves naturally with each project.
